Particle Counters

 

Schroeder offers a variety of particle counters in our Oil Service Products line. Some can be integrated in-line into an existing hydraulic system to monitor contamination levels in real time (TCM, TIM, SMART kits). Others can be utilized as a portable service unit for temporary monitoring. All feature the ability to download measurements for further processing.

 

 

SmartKit

 

  • Real time ISO 4406:1999 codes or SAE AS 4509 (D)

TestMate Contamination Monitor (TCM)

  • Compatible with Standard Mineral Fluids & Phosphate Esters

TestMate In-Line Counter (TIM)

  • Compatible with hydraulic fluids, lube oils, and fuels
  • Data can be transmitted to various output devices to perform specific functions, such as illuminate a warning light, sound an alarm, activate an auxiliary filtration system, or even shut down equipment
  • Small size makes installation unobtrusive

 


 

TestMate Monitoring Unit (TMU)

  • Particle contamination is detected with an optical measurement cell
  • Automatic measurement and display of cleanliness ratings as ISO 4406:1999; SAE AS 4059, and NAS 1638

This category includes products that measure operating parameters of a system, including pressure, temperature, flow, and the presence of water. A patch test kit that can determine a fluid’s cleanliness level is also available.

Gauge Kits

The HMG-3000 is user-friendly by virtue of its easy-access selection menus leading to all of the unit's functions and settings.  The unit features a combination keyboard for entering numeric values and text.

Water Measurement Equipment

 

Schroeder offers several products for determining the amount of water present in a fluid sample. Both the TWS-C (TestMate Water Sensor) and the EWC (EasyTest Water Contamination Sampler) measure the amount of water in ppm or % by volume (saturation level).  The TWS-C is a sensor only; the EWC is a portable kit and includes a display. The EPK patch test kit provides the tools necessary to process a batch sample and determine the levels of both solid and water contamination present.

Hydraulic Test Bench

 

Schroeder’s Hydraulic Test Bench, or HTB, is the ultimate diagnostic tool and is capable of testing a variety of components, including pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders. The display panel on the bench includes a tachometer, flow gauge reservoir temperature gauge, and numberous pressure gauges. The versatile circuitry and instrumentation included on the HTB can shorten troubleshooting time and take the guesswork out of diagnoses.

 

 

Hydraulic Test Bench (HTB)

  • An ingenious universal mounting bracket makes mounting pumps and motors on the bench a simple, quick operation
  • Mounting plates are furnished to accommodate flange-mounted and foot-mounted pumps or motors
  • Drive adapter equipment includes inserts for keyed shafts, an insert chuck and a universal drive shaft
  • Quick disconnect porting on the bench provides convenient hook-up for test components

Kidney Loop Systems

 

Schroeder offers a variety of self-contained filtration systems equipped with high efficiency elements to remove solid particulates and/or water quickly and efficiently. These off-line systems can be used to supplement inline filters when adequate fluid cleanliness is not being achieved. Various model options include wheels, particle monitors, and sophisticated PLC’s.

 

 

Air-Operated Kidney Loop Systems

Schroeder offers a kidney loop filtration systems with a pneumatic motor in place of the standard electric motor.  The pneumatic motor offers the same flow capability using the same components, but without the need for the electrical outlet. This provides a major advantage in the application of this unit.  With no need for an electrical outlet, it is more portable than the standard electric-motored skids and carts.

X Series Filter Skids

Schroeder's new X Series filtration sids are compact, self-contained filtration systems equipped with high efficiency, high capacity elements capable of removing particulate contamination and/or water quickly and economically.  They supplement in-line filters whenever the existing filtration is incapable of obtaining the desired ISO cleanliness level.

Water Removal Systems

 

Schroeder’s Oil Service Product group includes a vacuum dehydrator which uses mass transfer to remove both free and dissolved water from oil. The SVD also has the capacity to remove solid particulates with its highly efficient membrane elements. It is capable of removing 100% of free and over 90% of dissolved water as well as 100% of free and over 90% of dissolved gases.

  • TWS-C standard on all units
  • Removes 100% of free and over 90% of dissolved water and as well as 100% of free and over 90% of dissoved gases
  • Automatic mode with automatic shutdown based on user settings
